    Default New Material..New Flies

    Just messing around with some recent fly tying material I purchased!

    Hand Carved (cork) Bubblehead Articulating Popper-Floats well!Learned a lot while working on this. CCG coat on top got a little messed up. Wish I would've taken a bit more time with it





    BIG Eye Clouser (aluminum sea eyes, very light)



    EZ-Body Baitfish-love this stuff except the price



    Cool Orange (self named) articulating Streamer

    Nice flies. I like that hand carved popper, great work...that must have been fun.

    Yes and no..

    I actually ran out of the orange marabou and creativity. Thats the real story. I will be using this on toothy critters, so it worked out ok. If the fish focuses on eyes or body it "may" help gets its teeth away from the line

    Thanks! It was! My first go at it, so there is a lot of room for improvement. Cork sands well and "carves" easily if you take your time. Im thinking about picking up an air brush which will leave more room for creativity when painting.
