Hey Kevin,
Here are a few variations of my favorite brook trout pattern. The grey hackle. I use frostbite plastic tinsel for some of the wraps of red, charcoal, and gold bronze, they are pictured as well. Couple shots of my home province on the beach and a brookie I had for dinner.
cheers phil

very nice flies there Phil. They would take plenty of fish here and the wild browns would certainly take them.Wish we had wild brook trout over here, most of them are stocked same as most rainbows.

I must make a trip over sometime its one of my last ambitions to do.

Thanks for sharing them Phil

Beautiful flies! Thanks for posting them, I enjoy looking at finely tied flies. The greenwell glory is very elegant looking.

I dig the patterns from across the pond, its always interesting to see the difference in style. Nice tying and thanks for sharing.

Hey Noreaster, its funny how its a small world fly tying wise, I tie something very similar to the first fly in your link. Lets just say its a killer when it comes to the small bluelines and little brookies.

Very nice looking flies, Kevin.

I particularly like your verison of Greenwell's Glory and that buzzer looks deadly!

Pocono
have many many buzzer patterns, they are my favourites to tie,but also the dries and wets are enjoyable playing with different materials and seeing the end results.
