Cutting craft foam with dressmaker's pinking scissors is an easy way to make a detached body with a segmented look for a dry fly. The Fflip Fflop is a very buoyant pattern and is great as a searching pattern for fast water as well as a useful fly to have as an indicator in a duo with a weighted nymph. Craft foam and organza are readily available at craft stores in a wide range of colours so the Fflip Fflop can be tied to imitate a range of aquatic and terrestrial insects. Thanks for watching.
