    Default Orange Brown Paraloop

Ive been meaning to tie some mayfly parachute flies for a while, so here is one with an orange loop (I also use white) I like the loop because you get a big indicator for little body bulk

    Hook- #16
    Tail- Brown or Furnace
    Body- Camel (colour) tying thread
    Post- Orange antron yarn
    Hackle- Brown or Furnace

Nice fly Chris.when I started tying flies with orange wings more than ten years ago...some people laughed at me telling me I wouldn't catch any trout with them...

Nice fly, Chris. I could see that working in many different body colors.

How do you tie the paraloop (I've never done one)? Is it just tied in, looped up and down and tied off? Or is there something else going on that I'm not seeing? Also, do you reinforce the base of the paraloop with vertical thread windings, as you would with a regular post?

    Thanks,

    Allan
