    Hi Jack,

Just scroll up or if this lands on a new page go back to page 20.....

TT, I'm a heavy reel sort unless we're talking about something like my Featherweight. Like I said, the Viscount 7/8 is still a tad light on a 9' 5 weight for me but I'm gonna keep it anyway.

    Hi Jackster,

They are in my first post to thread, nearer the top of the page. Post # 195.
The first four shots of a gold & black S handled A/R reel are my McNeese.

Or is it that they aren't showing up on your screen - not loading?

    Thank you, TT

I've got the same problem - no pics on TT's posts.

Casey, have you been hanging around the Lamson dealer too much?

    Trekker,

That's the only McNeese on here, very nice. What's the back plate look like, and is that anti reverse?

    Wannafish,

Here is the clicker set up on that Viscount, first picture is with tension full off.

Here it is full on, you can see how the cam has pulled the springs tight.

    [IMG][/IMG]

The tension knob on the back plate operates a cam that draws the spring tighter as you dial it up. The spring simply applies more resistance to the pawl being able to flip. This is a fine set up for trout fishing with a good range of drag tension and if you hook into a heavyweight you then use the hand.
Thanks Ard, I am somewhat obsessed with Hardy clickers myself; the Golden Prince has a drag knob like that but quite different set up inside.

    Allan & Jack,

Regarding the photos, that's weird because they are all here for me??

Yup, all blanks. Maybe it's an AOL thing (?) But, I've never had this problem before (at least I don't think I have - but then, how can you miss something that you can't see? ............ )

I copied Trout Trekker's McNeese photobucket:

I didn't copy all of them, so this will have to do. I used AOL for a very short time years ago. HATED IT!!! It invades every part of your computer, and has weird filters. I had to completely wipeout a hard drive to get that program off my computer, and even then.....
