Default Keeping eyelets from freezing up.

What does everybody use to help slow your eyes from freezing up. I was thinking about trying some waterproofing spray to help wick some water away from them. any ideas?

I tried vaseline once, and I think that it worked OK. That was a few years ago, so there may be better coatings now.

i think there was a couple of threads about this recently. I know i started one - various replied came in, but Diver Dan's STP son of a gun was the best response i got. Clean your line with that stuff and your eyes will never freeze

I use Stanley's Paste or lip balm. I am leery about what I put on my fly lines and stick with what is recommended by manufacturers.
