Thumbs up A great read here.

I love 'small town' newspapers, as you really do get 'news.' Not the constant rehash, etc.

Good Afternoon Larry. Another 'hot one' here in the Rogue Valley (mid-90's is the projection, and it got there with ease yesterday).

I have three or four 'small town' newspapers 'on-line subscriptions' and several more 'headline news' from major papers in the US and Europe. The first will usually tell you 'the truth,' the others you take with a grain of salt.

Interesting part with those is the same 'story,' how do they treat same, put in, leave out ... and you sort it out for yourself. The basic 'theme' may be similar, but one or two may have true gems of information. Like (if you're in the financial advice business) CRITICAL PATH information.

Couldn't get on the Sat-phone fast enough. Those darned things really work well as well as a lap top with 128 bit encryption for the full story.

Most days are .... well, boring.... some days are like sitting through a Mortar attack by people who really know what they're doing.
