Seems like every time I start saving up to replace
my beloved boat cover (survived one hail storm but NOT two)
something else comes along to test my finances.

For example . . .
Anybody tried Clackacraft's trailer strap buckle.
Looks a little spendy but since I always have trouble
securing my tag line off the straps - thinking maybe
this would help or not.

There's also a lock now that that fits over the hitch
to reduce trailer-to-vehicle noise:eek:.
Really echos in our family van so wondering if those are
safe like do they put too much pressure on the
hitch assembly.

Thanx/ -k-

When I bought my new Clacka back in May, I opted for the new strap buckles, boy are they nice. Like you stated, a little pricy but well worth the expense.

I assume you're referring to boat buckles?

I have them on my Clackacraft's trailer, and I'd never go back to a strap. Not only are they always in place and ready to use, they save time in putting them on, and I think most importantly, they don't stretch like straps do - seems like I was always stopping to tighten a strap. Plus, did you ever accidentally pull a strap into 2 pieces and then try to remember how to put it back together. UGH!
