Thread: WNC Fly Fishing trail?

  1. #1

    Default WNC Fly Fishing trail?

I will be near there next week for a business trip, and was planning to take Friday and Saturday to fish. I am from SW VA and never been to this part of NC, is there any pointers that you guys can give me for these waters.

If you feel like it, you could PM me any decent spots

My plan: Early morning start Friday WEST FORK TUCKASEGEE RIVER
Early morning Saturday Try out CANEY FORK and the other Small Streams

Any tips or advise on the area would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

This is some good water to fish but be sure to get the water release times on the Tuck. Caney fork will be low and an elk hare caddis should do you well.As for nymphs BHGRHE or a PT.. Good luck
