Had a good day fishing Stone Mountain State Park with a fellow forum member, rc51sport, last week. We started out fishing one of the small wild designated streams in the park and fishing was really tough. Water was low and clear and some of the spookiest fish I have ever seen. Fished pretty hard for a few hours and got completely skunked, only fish I saw were the ones I spooked. LOL

We finally gave up and went down to fish the DH section. Caught a few on a dry fly of all things olive body comparadun, and RC caught a few on a nymph, I am not sure of the pattern. I caught one of the prettiest stock fish I have ever caught, a brown that was just lit up, gorgeous colors, wish I would have gotten a pic.

All in all a great day, ready to go back.

I went back today. Had better luck. Water was even lower.

I fished there for a few hours last spring. Didn't have much luck but it's a beautiful place to waste a bit of time
