Default Smokies Water #3

Fished upper Luftee this morning.....water level is still above normal .....temperature up to 53 degrees..... slow to start but about 10:30 Browns began to feed and we caught and released some really nice (for the upper Luftee ) Browns...... probably caught 8 or 9 fish in the 8"-12" size..... they are healthy and really put up a great fight....turned all of them back....too pretty to keep....will go after them again next week.....coninued....

I'm jealous of all you guys fishing those beautiful mountain areas, I was in the Catskills this past weekend and I'm now hopelessly addicted. I'd willingly make the 4 hour drive to fish there every weekend...

I lost a monster brown there in October 2010. After a 5-7 minutes fight, he broke the hook off the nymph. I still think about that fish.
