north georgia fishing reports?

I just got lucky, because as a gift for my birthday my wife gave me my first fly rod. I've done a tiny amount of fly fishing once (a few weeks ago), but other than that I have only fished for trout with bait or spinners. Any advice for streams to try (or avoid) this time of year for a novice? (Btw, I'm already planning a class)

Thanks.
