stream advice ky/wv

departed drought ridden texas 10 days ago to head to new england

sat in nw arkansas for a week as waters raged

now i am in eastern ky, with 2-3 days of ran ahead

my question....what are good stream/rivers eastern Ky and heading twds penn?

i have print out from state fish and wildlife listing dozens of streams, but of course i have no idea how productive they are

also...how has rain affected them

New River Gorge is an excellent smallmouth river in WV. If you come north on the southwest side of Pa., the Youghhieny is an awesome brwon trout river.

And don't forget the Elk. I haven't been on it this year but a workmate of mine, spinning guy, fished it a few days ago and did very well.

Fishing is good there now from what I've been reading and May is usually a really good month, too bad I won't be there. Maybe thanksgiving time.
