  1. Default Fly Fishing in the Smokies

Thinking about fly fishing the Smokey Mountains this fall. Any thoughts? Any good guides? Any good lodges?

  2. Default Fly Fishing the Smokies

Fall is a great time to fly fish the Great Smoky Mountains National Park!
It is the busiest time for our guides - and we do have some great ones!
As the weather cools down, the trout become more active. You have the brookies up high and the browns down low as well as the ever present rainbows. When the leaves begin to change, even if it is a slow day fishing (there is never a bad day fishing) then you could not be in a more beatiful place! AND you have approximately 900 miles of streams to choose from, so how could you miss. As far as places to stay - not necessarily lodges - you have bed and breakfast inns, overnight rental cabins and chalets, and the usual hotels. Since the GSMNP is the most visited Park in the nation, there are plenty of accommodations to be found.
