For some reason I ended up buying an OPST Commando Floating tip , SHS Floating Tip 75 gr 10' ? I sometimes get caught up in the moment and for a while I was wanting to turn a 2 wt rod into a Skagit shooting type rod . I guess I thought I could use this . Any ideas , tips or guesses what I can use this for ? TIA .

I were you intending to use the floating tip as a head like some guys have done, or attached to the front end of a 150 grain head? Just curious.
If you don't have a heavier skagit head to attach it to the business end of, I don't know what exactly you'll be able to use it for.

Maybe I can use it on my O or 1wt as a head coupled with 15 lb amnesia for shooting line ?
