Plan on purchasing TFO Deer Creek switch rod 11' 4wt. Want to know any suggestions for a reel.I have looked into a Ross Animas 7/8 $229.95 or Waterworks-Lamson ARX 7wt.oz $295.95

A couple of reels in that price range I would consider would be the Sage 3210 (which I have on the same rod you are considering) and the Allen Kraken (which I have on 9wt and a 10wt rod). You can't go wrong with either of those.
Really no need to go that big. Most guys go up two line sizes on a switch. I fish a 5/6 on my 11 foot 4 weight and it easily holds a full integrated line.
Can't help you much on your reel choice, I'm a clicker guy, and see no need for a drag on trout or steelhead reels. If I had to choose, I'd get the Ross. I've owned a few Ross and Lamsons and for trout sized stuff I prefer Ross.
