Mystery Cortland Mono...

I was going through old gear tote today and found a spool I barely remember buying years ago.
The spool label says Cortland Greenspot Dacron 20lb Trolling line. However it it not Dacron it appears to be a flat mono line red in colour.
I think I bought it for my father in law who is a Muskie fisherman and it wasn't what he wanted.

It was marked wrong I believe but it this something anyone has come across before...a flat, red running line from Cortland?

Kinda looks like that but it is a more transparent red. I know I bought it on the spool it is still on from a local shop around 20 years ago. Defiantly not round....oval or flat....forgot about it until I found it today.

Thanks Silver Creek, that is it. Strange as label was marked different and I never touched it since buying years ago.

Seems I have some mono shooting line I can try. Thanks for the info.
