Default Another quick trip.

Finally had a chance to get to the local lake for some shore Tenkara fishing on the 4th. Water was warmer than the last time I went and a little greener. Rigged up the 12' Iwana and started walking the shore line I usually hit. Had a killer bug tied on but no action, I noticed fishing hitting on surface bugs, tried a dry, no luck.

Finally I tied on a larger wet fly and got a small bluegill and so I kept working the area and caught one around 9". Kept walking and casting and caught a small bass and then more 'gills. Finally had to leave to do a BBQ. Ended up with 12-14 'gills and 2 small bass. Made my day!
