Summerfest and Anglers Market-Sunday, August 10,2008

Livingston Manor, NY- The longest running summer event from the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum, The Anglers Market and Summerfest has been moved up to Sunday, August 10 from 8:30-4PM. Once fly fishing fans will be able to search over 100 tables of fly fishing collectibles, old tackle, books and other treasures related to fly fishing and the outdoors. Over 35 dealers meet annually at this one day event to display and sell everything imaginable in the outdoors sports field.

Do you have something related to fishing but don’t know what it is? Bring it for our Antiques Tackle Road Show. Our pros Jerry Girard and Bob Selb will gladly help identify it and provide you with an insurance appraisal if you would like.
Bring the family…Jubilee Day is just next door. The CFFCM property is divided into two large unattached fields separated by an old railroad bed. On one side will be Summerfest/Anglers Market, the other Jubilee Day, a family day for everyone. Jubilee Day will feature craft products, local civic interest displays, well care facilities, farm markets, fresh flowers and a BBQ.
We will host a fishing derby for kids under 15 years old at 11:00 at the pond with prizes to be awarded at noon…bring your fishing gear and bait. There will also be pony rides and a petting zoo. It is a wonderful day to kick back and relax.
