I have a story for almost everything. The Rolling Stones are the band that got me addicted to R&R.

I was in fifth grade and my Grandpa gave me a Zenith transistor radio that had a leather case. There was a Top 40 station called KIRL and another rock station, KXOK. I listened to it all the time. I liked the music but one day, a song called "Brown Sugar" came on.

The guitar work was gritty and raw and the vocals were gutteral and passionate all the way down to the "yeah, yeah, yeah, whooo!" I was in for the long haul. I quit taking piano lessons and became a guitar player.

What a fun memory.

Dustin: What a great band, this is a hard one, way too many great songs, but for some reason 'Jumpin' Jack Flash' sticks in my mind

When I think of the stones, I automatically think of the Vietnam War...Must have been all those T.V. shows as a child..

I'd have to choose Gimme Shelter because I like the eerie surrealistic lead in but when you need a boost Start Me Up is kinda hard to beat. The live show montage that was made from the Flash Point tour is probably my favorite to listen to.

Plus, Music is good for the soul...it can make a cold day warm and even stop the rain..

Gimme Shelter!!!!!!!!

Album, live in concert or covered by someone else I don't care.

When my longtime friend makes the trip to my house we always end up having to put new fuses in one of the speakers after we play that song over and over and over, louder and louder and louder

In fact I am listening to it now as I type:thumbsupu

For me it is Sympathy for the Devil ...hope you guessed my name.

For some reason I can't remember how to post the actual video, with the picture and play button. I know I've done it in the past, but this is all I get, now.

If you're a Stones fan, their music is kind of like pizza. I mean even when it's not the greatest, its still really good.

Gimme Shelter and Sympathy at the top of my list. As good as their music is, they are entertainers in every sense of the word. Their showmanship even at advanced ages is still really, really good.

How could I possibly forget to add Honky Tonk Women, Brown Sugar and Miss you to my list? Here's a cool clip with a talented and good looking lady joining them on stage.

Here's one that I'm surprised nobody has claimed yet. This one seems like something GrtLksMarlin might enjoy.

Favorite one to listen to... Gimme Shelter... opening notes still raise the hairs on the back of my neck (seriously).

Favorite one to play... Brown Sugar

Favorite to see The Stones perform... Midnight Rambler

Good friend of mine just saw them in Stuttgart last week... still going strong, absolutely amazing.
