    Default Wild Mushrooms

We've had a lot of rain this year and the mushrooms have been sprouting up like..... well like mushrooms
One of the best is the Black Trumpet, a kind of chanterelle. In the past I've found one or two patches a year, but this year I've been lucky enough to find them by the pound.

I was going fly fishing until my wife suggested it, now I can't tell who is outsmarting who!

Being "one with nature" requires a knowledge of what animals are living nearby and a weapon of sufficient magnitude to give you at minimum an equal chance of survival. No one has an invisible aura that animals can detect and sense your good intentions.

    Hi Paul,

It's been a good year here too, lots of the AK. Portobella / crimimi and Inky caps even now.

Anywhere can be the land of great expectations, broken dreams, or paradise found, it's all up to you.

Last night we had homemade pizza with 3 kinds of wild mushrooms.
Black trumpets, honeys, and king boletes (porcini, cep).
