Oddly enough the surgery is barely 'invasive.' Just a small cut in your stomach and in they go. You're tossed out of the Hospital 36'ish hours later.

Mine has 4 holes and I was home in 6 hours. Even after all the recovery issues.

Glad to hear it worked out for ya....

I suffered through GB attacks for close to a year. Lost some major weight.
I passed on the surgery....VERY PAINFUL

doc- says we have to take it out....
Me- What do you put in its place
doc- nothing, you dont need it
me- yes...i need's what regulates bile to my stomach
Doc- thats true....but your body will adjust

Me- went the herbal route and a little product called gallbladder complete. $300 beans and i was good.

My attacks were very similar symptomatically to heart attacks. Had two fun ambulance rides before they yanked the thing out.

Day two and I feel great. Barely any pain except a small twinge near the belly button incision when I stand up. I managed to eat some chicken noodle soup last night too. Besides a bit of burping, it went off without a hitch. I even slept through the night and needed no pain medication. I only took some Ibuprofen when I stood up for a bit.
