Thread: Shoes You Wear

    Default Shoes You Wear

The watch thread was a fun read, but I'm not a watch guy so I thought I'd start one on shoes. I'm in the clothing business, and it has some good perks.

    Alden 405 boot
Wolverine 1000 Mile x Filson Emerson boot
    Alden All Weather Walker
    Allen Edmonds Monk Straps
    To Boot New York Felix
    Hunter rain boots
    and others...

Am lusting after a new pair of Peter Lemmer Boots, the last ones lasted me about 8 years, toughest and most comfortable hiking boots I have ever worn.

I was going fly fishing until my wife suggested it, now I can't tell who is outsmarting who!

Being "one with nature" requires a knowledge of what animals are living nearby and a weapon of sufficient magnitude to give you at minimum an equal chance of survival. No one has an invisible aura that animals can detect and sense your good intentions.
