Default A day in the life of a Fly Fisherman

Thought the title might get you guys thinking, this should be interesting?
No, not really, just a rant on a Friday night

    1. It's far to cold, my local river and brooks are frozen.
    2. My washing machine stopped spinning. $$$
    3. Had to get new rotors for my truck. $$$
    4. Had a gutter fall of the garage. $$$
    5. Had to drive 3 hours to MA to return my brother in law's dog, I've been watching for a week while he was in Barbados, enjoying the Sun$$$
    6. Got to his house and there was no beer in his fridge. $$$
    7. Another storm due to hit CT on Sunday when I get home.

    I just want spring

Think warm thoughts, Eddie. The calendar says just 20 days til spring....
Hang in there, and let your brother know he owes you a fishing trip when things thaw out

Well, if it makes you feel better...

    1. It's far to cold, my local river and brooks are frozen.

It's actually nice here in Colorado and I went fishing yesterday... but...

    2. My washing machine stopped spinning. $$$

I don't have a washing machine so I go to the laundromat

    3. Had to get new rotors for my truck. $$$

    My Subaru needs new struts.

    4. Had a gutter fall of the garage. $$$

    I don't even have a garage.

    5. Had to drive 3 hours to MA to return my brother in law's dog, I've been watching for a week while he was in Barbados, enjoying the Sun$$$

    I don't have a wife or a dog.

    6. Got to his house and there was no beer in his fridge. $$$

    That always blows.

    7. Another storm due to hit CT on Sunday when I get home.

    Been snowing here too.

Just saying... sounds like you have a pretty good life all in all. I do too but my job as a teacher doesn't pay me a living wage. So, no house, no dog, no washing machine, and no truck for me. Perspective my friend, perspective.
