Another good term/word I like is "Tramping",from friends in New Zealand which they call Hiking & Walking.
Also have heard it called & used "Footing it" & "Foot Slogging" which I learnt from the WWII Aussie Army Guys I worked with who fought In New Guineau.
Scrub Fishing > Fishing in Bushland.
Mr Speckles > Rainbows Or Browns.
Most of The other common ones have been mentioned, also there are many, many well known ones we all know & sometimes use which cannot be mentioned.

Don't know how I omitted these on the page one list but............

Chum > A species of Pacific salmon
Dog Salmon > Another name for Chum
Head > Typically a short but heavy length of fly line used in conjunction with 'running line'.
Hook Gap > The distance between the point and shank of a hook measured from same.
Tackle Tart > A person who, for reasons he or she cannot control, continues to buy fishing gear they may not ever use.
Studs > Typically carbide cleats that are screwed into the bottom of the wading boot for traction.

Anywhere can be the land of great expectations, broken dreams, or paradise found, it's all up to you.

Kamakazzie Run: The Final Run Large Browns & Rainbows make,if using Fine tipits sometimes leads to a break offs.
My cure was to use larger Tipits.
