A vintage Hardy the Perfection Palakona trout fly rod, two piece split cane
supplied at 9’ long but has approx. 1-1/2” off the tip, the replacement tip eye fixed so the rod is 8’10-1/2” doesn’t affect the fishing and it’s a good looking rod. The rod is line rated 5, nice for small streams rivers and ponds too.
Agate butt ring, low bridge intermediated whipped burgundy tipped black, rod is post numbered with code J/J.
Bronze ferrule with stopper, 7” shaped cork handle with alloy up screw reel fitting.
A good all round Hardy Palakona rod at the right price and comes with makers cloth bag
