So I have a few days in Montana coming up, first day
and half will be spent in the Bozeman area, considering the Gallatin or the East Gallatin and possibly the day in Livingston on the Yellowstone. Sounds like some of the better wading access for the Yellowstone is right close to Livingston. Curious on any opinions between the locations. Not asking for your your honey hole, although I would treat it kindly? Anyways just tossing it out there. Thank you.

The last few years the north (river left) channel of the big island of the Yellowstone right at the city park in Livingston has been a terrific place to wade and fish, but this summer it is almost dry. Not many years ago it carried most of the flow of the river. There are a few other accesses around Livingston that furnish some wading opportunities, and some that don't. The Gallatin is usually more wadeable.
