Default Muski stick echo ION vs Winston Vapor 10 W

Between a Winston Vapor 10 weight and an Echo ION 10 weight whcih rod is more suitable to musky on the fly

the Winston is quite a bit lighter

Both rods are good tools to cast heavy lines and flies. Whichever one suits your stroke the best is the one you want.

I owned an Ion 8wt for a while, and it's a great rod. Fast as all get out, but still great. It was built very well for the price point and certainly had a unique style about it. I may pick up another one someday.

I second the motion for the Echo ion. It is stiff and fast and if you look at the youtube videos that Rajeff sports had put out about the breaking strength of it's predecessor, The Classic, it is darn near impossible to say no to the quality and price. I only wish it was made in the US.

Hope that helps,
