I love those gills. I use a light 2wt TFO Finesse and the bend in that rod is unreal. It is such a hoot. A 9" bluegill will actually take a few feet of line quite often.

Looking at newbys Bluegill pictures reminds me of the thing that I like the most about them( besides the fight) , all the different shades and patterns they come in ! An artist couldnt compete with natures variety when it comes to gjlls. Here are a few.
