    TBBlom,

I have to add my complements on the crawdad! When I spin fish, one off my fav killer lures is the Rebel Wee Crayfish, and your fly looks more realistic that that lure does!

Any chance that you could do a steb-by-step on it, or point us to where you found it?

Found an interesting method for making hopper/cricket legs online.
"Crazy Legs: Hand-Crafted Hopper & Cricket Legs - FAOL"

Ordered some shrink tubing and got it today, so I tried to tie some foam hoppers. (#8 & #10 hooks)

Still need to work on the design a little, but they look like they just might get a fish's attention.

Oh dear, do you cast those with a rod or a cannon? Are those musky or billfish flies?

I normally tie pike flies and fish them all the time locally with an eight weight. These are some flies I have been doing for some guys throwing for muskies. These are normally thrown with a ten weight rod/ 11 line.

I have more flies on my site.

For the record Robert, that giant blue fly that Gar posted might do you right for barracuda fishing if stripped in at a good clip! I've also seen people throw white-bait (large bait fish) for tarpon that look about that size, I wonder if they'd work for tarpon... any reports on your end, Gar?
