Buggers and mudlers work fantastic...but my fav pattern is a simple maribou leech with a bead. Simple to tie, but definitely my best performer. Its a very versatile pattern...you can drift, bounce off the bottom, strip...allows you to switch up your presentation without changing your fly all the time.
