Thread: Brushy Creek,TX question

  1. Exclamation Brushy Creek,TX question

If you fish Brushy, can you tell me what fly you would use if you only had ONE fly to use and the point of the tourney is to catch the MOST DIFFERENT SPECIES. The species that are possible are, Rio Grande Cichlid, Longear Sunfish, Red Breast Sunfish, Largemouth Bass, the occasional guadalupe Bass, and channel catfish. Thanks.

#8 Wooley Booger; black if only one color.

Only fished there once years ago, caught a fine largemouth and 3# channel on this fly.

I'd rather hunt fish than bait deer any day.
