    Shoot man, why is everyone catching such nice bass on poppers? Leaving me fishing the deep stuff and still not catching much. Regardless, great looking poppers.

    Looks like I have some bucktail to buy, I guess I will make that dangerous trip to the fly shop tomorrow. I will leave the credit card at home

    Thanks. That last frog popper is my son's design and he has been catching some nice bass on it.

    This is the time of year to throw poppers. I love popper season.
    Those are some beautiful ones piscatorial_phd.

    I'm seeing quite a few crawfish around the banks lately, the small ones are brown/olive and the larger ones are red/orange. Both good clouser colors.
