Default First smallie on first self spun popper

I tied up my deer hair popper the other day and decided to take it out for some sun-down smallie action.

Here is the first fish that decided it had to eat it

The fly image won't come up for me but that smallie pic did! Very nice fish. A nmber of people down here would take smallies over trout any day. I'm beginning to agree. I believe you could tie a smallie with any other fish of it's size tail-to-tail and the smallie will tow that fish around.

I like smallies too and fish them but I must say that Bluegill will take on a smallie any day.
