Difficult to pick just 4, but over the years I've done the majority of warmwater fishing for the bigger species I chase with:
    Clousers
    Seaducers
    Deceivers
    Poppers
Remember, no one likes to be behind the big truck, but that's better than being under it!

    1. Foam frog

    2. Mouse (foam mouse or Dirty Polk Rat, deer hair starts to sink in minutes)

    3. Lefty Kreh style Wooly Bugger (black marabou tail, peacock hearl wrapped body, copper wire over hearl, black hackle palmed over body)

    4. Dragonflies (my own patterns)

If I could add a fifth it would be crayfish of my own patterns.

slider/ diver (I love the top water action)
hopper (just cause I like to tie them/ fish them and they work)
clouser (I use a variety of colors-- not sure one works better than another...)
leach pattern (could be a bugger, could be a seal leach.....)
