Thread: Some Fish & Scenery

  1. #1

    Default Some Fish & Scenery

Spring is beginning to spring around here, and the fish are moving around and fattening up. The flow has increased a slight bit, just enough to get the Guadalupe hybrids biting. They're not a real big fish, but are aggressive and fun to catch, beautiful markings.

The "Money Maker" caught the fish above, except for the baby.

A surefire way for me to catch a nice bass is to start bream fishing. This is why I bream fish with 12# or 10# fluorocarbon.

Sorry this turned out as a photo dump of the past few weeks rather than a report. I'm a visual person.

Thnks for the report and pics! Was a bit early in the hill country this year but the river does look great. Now headed back to Wyoming in a day or two after spending some time down in Port O'Connor and will miss this warmth and fishing.
