Default It's on :)

I acquired a new to me 7wt switch this winter and decided to take it for it's maiden voyage today. It was a little too much rod for early spring in the water shed but I wanted some water time with it to try out a few lines. It casts well and I finally settled in with a 9wt Rio Outbound Short. No Largemouth yet but the Crappie were angry and hungry. Good bye Winter, don't come back!

It's half way between a single hand rod and a spey. They're usually 11-12' long.

Nice specs! There's a small pond that I know of, that is rumored to have a population of crappie. It gets flooded pretty good occasionally by a nearby river so its possible that anything could be in there. I'm thinking of hitting it up tomorrow after work with my new TFO Pro II 6 wt
