I caught my very first grass carp ever, actually 2 of them. I was using my 8wt setup and hand tied flies that resembled aquatic vegetation.

I know, right. Now I need to come up with something else, lol. Every year I try to add a new species of fish to my lifetime list. Slowly I've been adding fish to my fly fishing list.

This fly fishing for Carp sounds neat! Mainly I see the bow and arrow guys late at night

I got two spools of bright green ribbon at Walmart yesterday. One is about an 1/8" the other 1/4". They look a lot like blades of grass. If they don't work I'm only out $1.
