Default Re: Carp difficulties

Well my waters are either tributaries of the Missouri or have been formed by the Missouri and in northwest Missouri the Missouri river is a flowing river of chocolate milk... I've caught carp on the spey by rolling a lead weighted worm pattern on the bottom, through the current, after a rain storm. I've had hook up with carp in the lakes with Rusty orange backstabbers. But, I'm looking to improve on the efficiency of my technique. That being said, I appreciate the input about all the flies you are using.

That is a sweet looking fly. I bet it would work down here on reds and bass. How big is it?
