I have the 5wt 9' in this rod and love it. I like the medium action. There is a 4wt 9' for sale and I'm tempted to get it. I have a Thomas&Thomas XL2 490 and I like the flex but its a little heavy. Does anyone have experience with this rod? Think there is enough difference to spend 300+ to get it?
