Thats how you can tell if a fish is alive or dead in the photo. If they are alive they all turn their eye down.

SO the next time you reading a Fly fishing magazine and the eye is flat, guess what. That fish is no longer with us. Or even worse bought at the fish store for the photo shoot. Grin.

There are many levels of dead, this fish isn't completely dead, only mostly dead. :surprise: (it's a "princess bride, Billy Crystal" thing)
I've had fish eyeball me, only when I went to release em they shift to looking down at the water. Amazing creatures.
