Hey y'all,
I was fishing this week a little bit in my dad's pond in our back yard and caught about 8 or 10 small fish. Today when I went to throw some fish food in there for the smaller fish, I saw that some of the catfish that we put in there last year got pretty big!
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what lake and pond flathead catfish eat? I think that it would be a pretty good fight when I hook into the bigger ones.
I used a bead head, pheasant tail nymph (I think that is what it's called) tied to a piece of flourocarbon about a foot long tied to the hook of a popper for a bobber and strike indicator. lol It didn't work too bad, got quite a few bites, so I know that the fish are biting. I just don't know what to throw to those bigger cats.
Thanks y'all,
