Thread: Yeahaaa!!!!!

  1. Default Yeahaaa!!!!!

Just caught my first flyrod bass of the year!!!!!! Had one 'bout 17" hooked up last Saturday, but he jumped and came down on the leader Just went today and was tossin' a size 4 frog pattern bass bug(my own design!!) and tossed it up by the bank on the other side of a shallow weedy cove, let it set for a second, then started the retrieve. Got one strip in and saw a wake comin' from the bank area, so I paused the fly. That bass never slowed down. SWAP!!!! I waited a second(FINALLY got that under my belt last year!)
and the strip set for a solid hook-up. Landed him and let him go. OH YEAH!!!!!!
