Uinta Mountain Streams: Wild Rainbows

A buddy and I went to the upper bear river to try and check another species off the list for the Utah Cutthroat Slam.

Unfortunately we didn’t find the cutts but found some sweet wild rainbow trout, which I make sure to talk about every time I catch one haha

If you recognized it you know exactly where it is. It’s not a secret spot, just a spot listed as a place to possibly catch a bear river cutthroat trout on the Utah Cutthroat Slam website. We fished through a bit of the stream a bit lower but only caught dink brooks.
