I'm in Arizona and wondering if there are any casting clubs around . Seems like a good way to spend the off season and I could use the help . Tucson would be great but I'm willing to come to travel a bit . TIA

Hell no , not that far . I don't want lessons I just want something to do . If that means lessons in a club , so be it but 100 miles is my limit . Thx for your reply .

The only club that does anything like that near tucson is desertflycasters in phoenix. The have a danish casting game, like golf, coming up early next year. They have casting lessons, etc.

The casting games course is set up similar to a miniature golf course, only every station is designed to replicate an actual fishing situation. However, unlike when you’re presented with these obstacles on the actual water, you’ll have FFI Certified Casting Instructors and club instructors there to advise you. Member are invited to participate noncompetitively or competitively. For those who choose to compete, we’ll have a prize for the winner. But keep in mind, the primary objective is to have fun and learn a new casting technique or two. The club will provide lunch will provide lunch afterward.
Special Note: No hooks allowed for the casting games—instead use a small piece of yarn for your fly.

I guess I can always go back to skeet shooting , I still have all my equipment .
